About Flood Form

While billions of dollars are being invested in public infrastructure, much of New York City’s flood exposure exists at the property level—where homeowners, businesses, and institutions often lack a clear path from understanding the problem to doing something about it.
Flood Form was created by Samuel Robinson, founder of resilient landscape design studio Field Form, to close that gap.
Drawing on hundreds of real-world stormwater retrofit projects across New York City, Flood Form brings together property-specific flood exposure data, AI-assisted analysis, engineering expertise, and practical implementation strategies to help property owners move from understanding flood exposure to building resilience.
As rainfall intensifies and flooding becomes more frequent, property owners cannot navigate the challenge alone. Flood Form connects data, design, financing, contractors, and long-term maintenance into a coordinated system for property- and community-scale climate adaptation.
